Welcome to the Anti Doping Hot-Line
The Anti Doping Hot-Line is a nation-wide telephone consulting service, which you can call anonymously with your questions about doping.
The Anti Doping Hot-Line works to prevent, discover, reduce, counteract and eliminate the misuse of doping and its consequences in Sweden. We do this by participating in seminars, conferences and networks where we can exchange knowledge and experiences. Observations gained from calls from hormone misusers, health care, relatives, the social welfare service, and others are presented in lectures and discussions.
The scientific level is gained and maintained through close cooperation with the Drug Information Center (DRIC) and a large number of specialist consultants in contact with the subject of doping. Reference literature and research results are readily available through both personal contacts with researchers and IT. We take part in research projects as well.
We cooperate with the other Nordic countries and are part of international networks.
AIM The aim is to decrease doping misuse and increase knowledge and awareness of the consequences by information, education, development and research.
Working at Dopingjouren are Annica, Nina, Joel and Erika. We are registered nurses who, besides solid knowledge of the mental, physical, and social consequences of the effects of doping misuse, have gained experience from working with sports & health, addiction problems, research and public health.
Our field of activities is now permanent and is funded by the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs (Socialdepartementet) and the Ministry of Industry, Employment and Communication (Näringsdepartementet).
